GENERAL PROPERTY DETAILS

The Manna House accommodation ranges from single/double rooms in shared houses (sharing kitchen, lounge,bathrooms) to bedsits/studio rooms (with own kitchens but sharing bathrooms) to self-contained studios,1,2,3 & 4-bed flats/houses. There are generally a couple of vacancies per month.

Property is located in Zones 2-3 in South & South-East London from Southfields to New Cross Gate. Most places are in Telegraph Hill, a quiet, leafy enclave and conservation area within New X Gate. The Hill boasts two parks (with tennis courts, ponds, far-reaching views), a woodland nature reserve, fine Victorian architecture and wide tree-lined avenues (with unrestricted parking). Goldsmith's college & gallery is nearby as are various cafes, shops, take-aways, a Sainsbury's and a number of venues hosting live music.

Telegraph Hill is conveniently situated less than 4 miles from central London (City & West End) and 2 miles from historic Greenwich with its markets, park, riverside, museums, cinema & theatres. It is a short walk to New Cross Gate BR station & tube (Zone 2) on the East London Line giving good access to Shoreditch (Brick Lane, Spitalfields); trains cover Kent, Sussex & South London reaching Charing Cross in 15 minutes. Close by is Nunhead station (Victoria - 15mins) and Queen's Road station (London Bridge - 8 mins). Numerous local (night)buses include 21,36,436,53,453,171,172,177,343.

BASIC TERMS & CONIDITIONS

~ Unless specified otherwise, the minimum term is 6 months
~ One month's notice is required when leaving - moving in/out is usually at the start/end of the month
~ Rent is paid calendar monthly in advance on the 1st of each month by cheque (or occasionally standing order)
~ Rather than a deposit, the last month's rent is paid in advance
~ A guarantor is normally required
~ There is a written contract - an Assured Shorthold Tenancy agreement

[The Manna House has an equal respect policy regarding sexuality, race/colour, religion/belief, class/caste, gender, ability/disability. Unfortunately, due to stairs and the Victorian style of most properties, accommodation is unsuitable for wheelchair users.]
